Who We Are

Friends of The Children Foundation Inc (FOTCF) is an Australian charity organisation registered with the Australian Governments official ‘Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission’.

We have been doing some outstanding community work including assisting Children Hospitals to buy critical equipments. We also help other charity organisations and refugee houses by providing food, essential items & other relief work for distribution to the poor and homeless people to relieve poverty or distress of people in need. We work with primary schools for inculcating environmental awareness amongst the school children and becoming more informed citizens for tomorrow.

A MESSAGE FROM THE FOTCF PRESIDENT, Mr. SHASHI KOCHHAR

FOTCF as a not-for-profit organisation has come together to nurture our environment, to improve our CHILDREN’S HEALTH and to educate them on leading a healthy lifestyle. Through this, we strive towards Building a Better World for Our Future Generations. We started this journey of continuous improvement in 1998 when as a group, we realised that the best investment towards the future is in our children.

We raise funds to purchase better training and equipment’s for Children Hospitals around us. We also tackle environmental education issues by joining and working with the ‘Clean up the World’ and ‘Clean Up Australia Day’ foundations and take part in tree plantation activities. We save Food from going to land fill and taking it to needy through our Bread Brigade initiative. We support local Primary schools to promote the sense of Belonging, working together, respect for others and care for environment. We donate all of our raised funds towards pursuing these activities and also support other charities, groups & centres, which aligns with our objectives.

Let us all salute to the pride and success of our Nation. Convey our thanks and show our Gratitude to All Mighty for transplanting our tree of life on this Lucky Country and this fertile Land where our tree of life is flourishing, flowering, and giving fruits of happiness and fulfilment.

Let us take a pledge and promise each other to work together and support each other in our happiness, sorrow, hard times during initial settling period in making each other journey a memorable and outstanding one and at the same time making this Lucky Country luckier country for our future generations.

Care comes, when we feel we BELONG
Trust comes, when we feel we BELONG
Love comes, when we feel we BELONG

We all are Humans first, so we must understand each other, help, work, and respect each other and spread the message of Love, Empathy and Humanity in the community. When we all are looking for same outcome of better tomorrow, then we all must work together sow the seeds of Happiness and Goodwill for future generations to harvest prosperity. Thank You.
